The legendary Cadillac brand is now known for its share of new all-electric models. With 2023 not far off, we can expect new releases. Find out which electric vehicles will be at your local Cadillac dealership in the coming months. Here are the details we know so far.
Cadillac LYRIQ
The Cadillac LYRIQ is the brand’s first EV. This midsize luxury SUV is slated for an early 2023 release and will come with a single rear motor with an estimated 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. There will, however, be a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version that produces an impressive 500 horsepower. The EV will be able to travel up to 312 miles on a full charge, according to the automaker. It can also achieve up to 76 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging on a DC Fast Charger.
Cadillac Celestiq EV
The Cadillac Celestiq will be released as a limited version model. The EV will be built on the Ultium platform, a first for the brand. All-wheel-drive will also come standard, as will four-wheel steering. Not much other information is known at this point, though it will have at least two available color options: Black Metallic and Steel Metallic. The roof will also feature electrochromic glass divided into four sections, and the driver will be able to adjust the tint of each individually.
Cadillac 2030 Electric Plans
Cadillac automakers have confirmed plans to go fully electric by 2030. This means every model in the lineup, from the Cadillac CT-5 to the Cadillac Escalade will all become electrified.
