Power
You probably already know that the Cadillac Escalade is a beast of an SUV, so the engine specs for the 2021 model won’t surprise you. It comes with a 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque, all without breaking a sweat.
The Chevy Tahoe also comes standard with a V8 engine, but it can only muster up to 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque.
Handling
Both of these SUVs are big, but the Cadillac Escalade handles similarly to a compact crossover. As for its suspension, this review from Truck Trend says it all: “Pretty much all road undulations and imperfections are smoothed out, providing among the finest highway ride [you've] experienced outside of a high-end exotic.”
The Chevy Tahoe, on the other hand, doesn’t provide the smoothest of rides, unless you want to upgrade to get Magnetic Ride Control.

The 2021 Cadillac Escalade can seat up to eight people with its second-row bench. All three rows have tons of head- and legroom, and it also offers numerous standard amenities, including:

The Chevy Tahoe can also fit up to eight people. However, the base model only comes with cloth upholstery and eight-way power-adjustable front seats.
