Looking for a big and powerful sedan? There are tons to pick from, and two brands that probably immediately come to mind are Cadillac and Lincoln.

While on the surface their vehicles may look similar, they have a lot of differences. Let’s take a look at how the Cadillac CT6 compares to the Lincoln Continental.

Power

The base engine in the Cadillac CT6 is a 335-horsepower 3.6-liter V6. The other option is a 4.2-liter V8 that produces a phenomenal 500 horsepower in the Platinum trim. That goes up to 550 horsepower in the CT6-V model, and all engines feature a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The standard engine in the Lincoln Continental is a 305-horsepower 3.7-liter V6. The most power you can get in this sedan is 400 horsepower from its 3.0-liter V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission.

Comfort

Cadillac vehicles are always known for their luxurious interiors, and the Cadillac CT6 certainly doesn’t disappoint in this area. Every model comes with leather upholstery, 14-way power-adjustable and heated front seats, memory settings for the driver’s seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Conversely, the Lincoln Continental only offers synthetic leather upholstery and 10-way power-adjustable front seats, but not much else.

Tech

The Cadillac CT6 comes with loads of built-in tech features, including an infotainment system with a 10.2-inch touchscreen and Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ integration. You will also get a Wi-Fi hot spot, navigation, and wireless device charging.

The Lincoln Continental has some of the same tech features, but its infotainment system only has an eight-inch touchscreen. And if you want navigation, you’ll have to pay extra for an upgrade.
