751 × 400Did you know that the Cadillac Escalade has been around for more than 20 years? This vehicle continues to be the gold standard for luxury SUVs, and the new 2021 model is shaping up to be the best one yet.

Three Different Powertrains

You will have a few different powertrains to choose from with the 2021 Cadillac Escalade. Its standard engine is a 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque, but you can also get a 3.0-liter Duramax® I-6 turbodiesel engine that will give you 277 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque.

Eventually, there will also be a 6.2-liter supercharged small-block V8 engine as well. But no matter which engine you choose, you’ll be able to enjoy a 10-speed automatic transmission with manual paddles.

Improved Suspension

For a big vehicle, the Cadillac Escalade offers an extremely smooth ride. The base trim comes with coil springs that use passive dampers, and that’s only for starters.

Coil springs that utilize magnetorheological Magnetic Ride Control are also available in upper trims of this new Cadillac. For an absolutely top-tier driving experience, you’ll want to opt for the air-sprung adaptive suspension that has magnetorheological MRC dampers.

State-of-the-Art Displays

As far as intuitive technology goes, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade sets a standard for other SUVs in its class. To start, there is a 7.2-inch touchscreen for the driver to the left of the steering wheel. Behind the wheel, you will find a 14.2-inch display that offers infrared night vision. And for things like audio controls and navigation details, the console has a 16.9-inch screen.

On top of that, the navigation system uses augmented reality which overlays graphics onto live street views.

The new 2021 Cadillac Escalade will soon be available at our Cadillac dealership near Orange Park. Get in touch for the latest information!
